Study Tours & Attachments

The CPA Secretariat runs an ongoing project to enable Parliamentarians, Presiding Officers and Clerks/Secretaries, to make Study Tours to other Commonwealth Parliaments.

 

These officials join well-established attachment programmes or training courses run by such Parliaments as Ottawa, Westminster and the Lok Sabha of India, while others attend specially arranged visits to nearby Houses.  In both cases, they work closely with their counterparts in the host Assemblies to see firsthand how they administer their Parliaments.
